As Northern Michigan locals, our carpets and rugs take a beating in every season. Regular vacuuming is not enough to clean and protect carpet, especially when snow and muddy boots are involved. The gritty soil that dulls carpet also acts like tiny pieces of sandpaper, damaging the fibers and wearing carpet out before its time.
The preferred method: hot water extraction
Some cleaners use dry methods. We recommend our multi-step hot water extraction process, which reaches deep into the fibers and lifts out ground-in grit and grime. It is the process our IICRC certified technicians use, and the one carpet manufacturers recommend.
Every carpet cleaning package includes
- Heavy duty vacuuming. A high speed commercial vacuum removes as much dry soil as possible.
- Preconditioning. Specially formulated agents loosen soil so it can be lifted out.
- Spot removal. Spotting agents go to work on persistent spots, with the safety of the fabric first.
- Furniture moving. We take care moving your furniture.
- Heavy duty jet extraction. A cleaning solution mixed with hot water is injected into the carpet and immediately extracted, lifting out soil and deep cleaning the fibers.
- Final finishing. We groom the pile for even drying and a finished look.
Premium packages can also include
DuPont Teflon carpet protector. Carpet stays cleaner longer, with added protection from soil and many staining agents.
Airspace deodorizing. Nuisance odors are neutralized in each room we clean.
