Every rug starts with a detailed inspection by an IICRC certified technician. We clean all kinds of area rugs, including Orientals, Persian, Turkish, Chinese, Navajo, braided, hooked, synthetic, and modern rugs. Rugs are cleaned in our shop and dried on a rack in a climate controlled room.
Package A, step by step
Drop off rugs at our shop, 1656 Clarion Avenue, Petoskey, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Pickup and delivery is also available.
From the couch everyone sits on to a delicate heirloom chair, we test each fabric and choose the right method. We clean cotton, wool, synthetics, silk, jacquard, moire, linen, and more, with methods for even the most delicate fabrics.

We clean window treatments in your home or in our shop. Our specialists inspect and test for color stability and condition, then choose the best method. When needed, we take them down, clean them in our shop, and rehang them.

Drying time depends on the carpet, the humidity, and air flow in the room. We extract as much water as possible and groom the pile for even drying, and we will give you an idea of drying time for your home at the appointment.
Package A is our full professional clean. Package B adds DuPont Teflon protector, so carpet and fabric stay cleaner longer. Package C adds deodorizing, or decontamination for area rugs with stubborn odors like pet urine.
Estimates are free for carpet, area rug, upholstery, drapery and blind, duct, dryer vent, and tile, marble, and hardwood cleaning. Emergency water and sewage responses do not require an estimate. If you want one, it is $150, and the fee goes toward your final bill if you move forward with the mitigation. A visual mold inspection and estimate is $275, and that fee also goes toward your final bill if you move forward with the remediation.
