At Bay Area Clean Care the first step in cleaning is a detailed inspection of the area rug. Our Certified Technicians inspect each rug to find out where it was made, how it was made, what kind of face yarn, and what type of foundation yarns it has. Depending on how it is made and what it is made of will determine the type of cleaning that will be used. Special care will be taken to clean handmade rugs, antique rugs, and rugs that are prone to bleeding. Your area rug will be in good hands.

Pre-Inspection
Our rug care specialists will hand inspect your rug to determine color stability, condition of rug and the best method of cleaning.
Dusting
A high-speed, commercial duster is used to loosen and remove particulate soil that is trapped deep down in the front and backing of your rug.
Heavy Duty Vacuuming
A heavy duty, commercial vacuum removes any dry particulate that was loosened during the dusting prosess.
Cleaning
The rugs are cleaned with the proper cleaning methods and equipment.
Drying
Each rug is rack-mounted and dried in our drying room.
Completion
Each rug is vacuumed, individually rolled and prepared for pickup or delivery.

Fabric Protection
Optional DuPont Teflon fabric treatment protects your area rug from soil and many staining agents.

All of our technicians are involved in ongoing programs of training and advanced certification through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration. They have answers to all your cleaning questions.
